Coach Marcel Ferreira has 33 years of experience teaching men, women and children.

He is a 6 degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the legendary coach and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu extraordinaire, Carlson Gracie. Here are just a few of Coach Marcel accolades…

Marcel started his journey as a coach in 1994 when he began teaching Jiu-Jitsu classes in an after-school program in Brazil.

Since then, he has become a head coach and owner of 5 martial arts gyms – where he specialized in teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and self-defense.

Coach Marcel has produced numerous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA world champions. But he considers his biggest accomplishment his Muay Thai fitness gym that he owned and operated in Brazil – where he mostly taught women self-defense and how to get into better shape.
